Hood's excellent post reminded me of this season of giving and the gifts that we give. I decided some years ago that the best gifts were those that:
- Nobody ever has to dust.
- Nobody ever has to return.
- Nobody ever has to regret.
In 2003, I gave a farm to my family. I think I might do it again this year.

I agree....gifts should also be given to those who have the least and need it the most. This year I've given my parents 2 hens and a rooster each in a Third World country and my brother's family warm clothing for 25 children in Bosnia. These gifts will be used and appreciated more than another container of bath salts or videogame. Check out www.worldvision.ca for even more gift ideas...
