Somebody ... PLEASE TELL ME ... that this isn't the extent of our support for the WOT.
I'm all for a little R&R but, the Canadian Government needs a bit of a reality check on the PR value of Tim Horton.
Don't get me wrong here. I know we have some incredible forces in the JTF2 and in other divisions. My question is for our politicos and why they refuse to acknowledge the contributions of our once great country.
All I want to know is that we're providing them with the best of the best, and everything else they require to get the job done. Capite?

From what I saw in 2004-2005, unfortunately, the Canadian Forces need a bit of an upgrade on equipment. Damned fine troops, very professional - but their equipment...um...could be better.
It was mortifying a few years ago when we had to rely on "Russia Rent.a.Plane".
The new $17.1 billion investment should help.
